Finally sent my projects Caveman (v7), High Noon (v5), and Gun Smoke traverse (v3) at Joshua tree yesterday.
My send of Caveman was especially meaningful to me because it was the first climb I saw two years ago upon entering Joshua Tree for my first time. At the time I would watch people try this amazingly aesthetic boulder problem, fall at the crux (linking the first half of the problem, through the cruxy middle section, and finally finishing up on v3 moves up and out of the cave.
This problem is unique and one that I have admired and dreamt about sending since I started coming to Joshua tree.
If you set your mind to it, you can accomplish anything. Very thankful for what climbing has given me since I started two years ago. To finally have sent cavemen marks a new beginning, and a fresh new perspective of future challenges, that I come across. Thanks for the memories Jtree, and many more to come.
